- Choose the Undrilled LIne Post for the middle of stairs. You'll need to drill your own holes to match your stair angle.
How To Choose Your Post Height
All fascia posts are 49 inches tall. For 36-inch railing, you will need to cut the posts down in height. For 42-inch railing, you won't need to cut the posts down in height. You can cut them easily using a miter saw with a carbide-tipped blade with a high tooth count. (You'll need at least 60 teeth on a 10-inch miter saw blade).
How Many Cable Runs Per Section?
- 36-inch railing will have 11 cable runs per section
- 42-inch railing will have 13 cable runs per section
