Installing solar deck lighting is easy! Twist the solar light lid counter clockwise to remove the top of the solar post cap from its base. Then simply open the battery compartment on the inside of the solar post cap light or solar rail light and remove the plastic barrier that prevents the battery and terminal from connecting. This plastic piece keep your solar light batteries at full charge until your solar deck light is installed!
Flip the switch reading Auto to Off and back to set the light.With the plastic piece removed and the batteries fully touching, set the backing of the battery compartment back in place, and your solar deck post cap light is ready to go! Place your solar fence post light a top your deck post and attach in place with the included mounting screws.
With your solar deck light in place, allow for at least 8 hours of direct sunlight to fully charge the battery and for the light to deliver its maximum brightness.
