If your Cable Railing project has a non-standard layout that isn't compatible with regular Key-Link posts, the Key-Link Blank Post is available to be adapted to your needs. It features the same 1/8 inch thick aluminum walls and 3/8 inch welded base plate as other Key-Link posts, and is ready to be drilled according to your level or stair needs.
Combine the 48 inch blank post with the Fitting Upgrade Kit (sold separately) to get the compatible bit and fittings needed to convert the blank post into a cable-ready line post. This is great for extra protection in coastal environments or for installing a 45 degree angle.
Don't forget to order a Release Tool
Your installation could be delayed if you are unable to disconnect a cable from its fitting! We strongly recommend adding a Release Tool to every Key-Link order!
