Surface mount posts attach directly to the surface of your deck. (Surface mount hardware sold separately).
How to choose the right post for your project:
For 36-inch railing:
- Use the Universal Level Post for all level sections
- Use the Stair Post for any angled stair sections
For 42-inch railing:
- Use the End/Corner Post for corners or posts where a cable run ends
- Use the Line Post in the middle of cable runs where the cable continues through the post and beyond
