Add beautiful Skyline cable runs to any pre-existing wood or metal railing posts with this handy cable fitting kit, including the cable and all the fittings to attach it to posts at both ends.

Note: The Short Fittings Kit is designed for posts that are thinner than 3-1/2 inches. For larger posts, check out Skyline's Long Fittings Kit here.

Important Skyline Cable Railing Notes

• You can run one stretch of cable in a straight line for up to 100 feet before stopping the run at an end post
• Make sure your line posts within a cable run are no further than 5 feet apart to keep cables properly tensioned
• We recommend stopping your cable and starting a new run at each corner, using two posts at each corner or slightly offsetting your cable runs.

How Many Cable Runs Per Section?

• For 36-inch tall railing, plan for 11 cable runs per section
• For 42-inch tall railing, plan for 13 cable runs per section
