AFCO Pro Aluminum Deck Railing
AFCO Pro is a metal deck railing system that is sold in complete kitted rail sections for straightforward ordering and simple installation. AFCO railing is sold in 4 foot, 6 foot, 8 foot, and 10 foot railing sections.
How to Install AFCO Railing?
To install AFCO deck railing, start by mounting your posts in position with structural screws or lags. Measure and trim the AFCO rails to length per your railing section opening, and then create the balustrade by setting balusters in place in the openings in the bottom rail.
With balusters set in their openings, place the top rail in position by feeding each baluster into its specific opening. When the rail assembly is complete, loosely set the brackets on the top and bottom rails but do not attach. Set the railing section in place between the posts.
Set the rail kit on support material measuring at least 2 inches up from the deck surface. When at the correct height, attach the bottom rail brackets and top rail brackets to the posts via their coordinating screws.
