Ultra Bright Technologies
Ultra Bright solar post cap lights offer the best in brightness, durability, and customization. Strong Ultra Bright LED bulbs easily shift between seven brightness levels. Ultra Bright lights are also ultra-cool: you can switch your lighting color between a warm white, a golden amber, and a cool blue with the simple wave of the included magnet!
How Do I Make My Lights Brighter or Dimmer?
Ultra Bright sets themselves apart from other outdoor lighting brands by making it easy to adjust brightness settings.
Each Ultra Bright light comes with a magnet. Simply wave the magnet over the solar panel at night or in a dark room until you find the activation area of the solar panel and the brightness changes. Then, make a quick up-and-down motion with your magnet over the activation area to cycle through 7 different brightness levels and the “off” setting.
Higher brightness levels will provide more illumination, but will also drain your battery more quickly. Lower brightness levels will allow your battery charge to last longer. The amount of sunlight your post caps typically take in during the day will affect how quickly your batteries will recharge. So pick the brightness setting that fits your desired looks, as well as your post cap’s ability to take in sunlight and recharge during the day.
How Do I Change The Color Of My Ultra Bright Lights?
UltraBright LEDs allow you to easily change the color of your post cap lights - one of the many cool benefits of your lighting unit. Wave the included magnet over your solar panel - make sure you do it either at night or in a room with no light.
When the brightness of your light changes, you’ve found the activation area. Hold or place your magnet on top of the activation area for at least five seconds to change the color of your light. You’ll cycle through three options: white, blue and amber.
After you’ve set the color, you can set the LED to the proper brightness as detailed above.
How Do I Replace My Solar Light Battery?
It’s rare to need to replace your Ultra Bright post cap light battery. But if you do need to, we offer replacement batteries. Replacement is easy: just unscrew your post cap, then unscrew the battery cover inside the cap. Replace the battery, then screw the cover back on and re-install your post cap.
How Do Solar Lights Know When To Turn On And Off?
Your solar post cap lights run on a photocell, which measures ambient light. When the photocell senses light, it turns your solar lights off. But when the photocell doesn’t detect any light, it switches your solar lights on. That means your solar lights react to your environment and only illuminate your post caps when they’re needed, rather than operating on a pre-set timer.
