The dimmer installs simply to control all or any portion of the system (dimmer is installed after transformer 12 volt output line). By simply installing multiple units, you can now control multiple lighting locations/zones according to your specific needs with one remote.
The remote can be replaced if it is lost or damaged. The replacement remote would need to be re-programmed by pressing the UP and the POWER buttons on the remote at the same time and then waiting for the indicator light to blink rapidly.
