Because they're assembled from Ipe remnants from other industries, Ipe ECO Tiles are also an environmentally-friendly choice. The pre-assembled 2 foot x 4 foot tiles feature seven slats of various lengths of Ipe planks. Though typically medium to dark brown, Ipe can vary in hue and pattern so each tile will have unique natural character. Use tiles anywhere a traditional deck can be installed!
Ipe Wood Tiles by Bison are commercial grade, constructed with stainless steel screws and high-grade Ipe; a Brazilian hardwood that has been environmentally responsibly harvested. Ipe can be treated with oil such as Penofin Hardwood Oil to preserve and enhance its original color, or it can be left untreated to develop a natural silver/grey finish.
