Specially designed to match the same spacing as the Fortress Evolution Steel S-ledger component to deliver easy midspan blocking where needed. It is required that Fortress Evolution Mid Span Straps be installed when deck joist spans are greater than 8 feet. Offered for both 12 inch and 16 inch on-center deck joist spacing, Fortress Evolution Mid Span Blocking is an ideal choice for both ground-level decks and elevated decks alike.
The Fortress Evolution Steel Mid Span Blocking is sold individually and is available for either 12 inches or 16 inches on-center joist spacing.
Installation Note: For ground level decks, install the Evolution Mid Span Strap on the top side of the Fortress Evolution Deck Joist. For elevated decks, install the Evolution Blocking Strap on the under side of the Fortress Evolution Deck Joist.
