Mounting and installing the aluminum railing system you've dreamt of has never been easier thanks to the AL13 Home Aluminum Post with Pre-Installed Brackets. Crafted from durable heavy-gauge aluminum, these structural posts are available in a slim 2 inch x 2 inch dimension to let your flat top rail gain all the attention. These AL13 Home Posts are intended to create a 36 inch or 42 inch high railing an over-the-post installation for a continuous top. The over-the-post installation method allows one to create a drink rail with an AL13 Home Aluminum Rail Clip (sold separately) or add a decorative touch with an AL13 Home Round Accent Top Rail (sold separately). The included 2-piece post base cover helps give a polished effect to the installed post. No extra time-consuming measuring, no more double-guessing; just a quick and accurate install all in one piece.
The placement of the AL13 Home brackets on the post is designed for only level Fortress panels.
Post Types Available:
End Post: End Posts will have one top and one bottom bracket installed to finish a level run.
Corner Post: Corner Posts will have two top and two bottom brackets installed for a 90-degree turn in your railing.
Line Post: Line Posts will have two top and two bottom brackets installed for a continuous run of rail.
Please Note: This post is made to be installed with the round or flat Accent Top Rail or a Rail Clip to install a deck board top rail. This post is not compatible with post caps.
