Every day at DecksDirect is a whole new adventure, and we couldn't be happier about the crew that we get to experience it with! We're a big group of goofballs who have a passion for two things: building awesome outdoor spaces and having a good time! Sometimes we mix the two together.
DecksDirect only hires smart, creative, and good-natured people to join our team; and it shows throughout our office. With great attitudes, tons of deck and building knowledge, and a desire to truly help our customers create the backyard looks they've always wanted; meet the legends behind the phones, screens, and products of DecksDirect.
Stacey
When you walk into DecksDirect, one of the first friendly faces you'll see is Stacey. She's been working here at DecksDirect for about 3 years now (her work-i-versary is November 1st!) and she brings her own unique blend of humor, kindness and strong work ethic with her to the office every day.
Stacey absolutely loves to cook and bake any chance she gets. It's not uncommon to walk into the office early Monday morning and smell a delicious, warm bread waiting to be devoured in the office kitchen.
Constantly working on one project or another, Stacey is the epitome of multi-tasking whether helping people with their deck projects at work or renovating a new spot in her home; Stacey keeps busy! Often working hard in her "Sheeee-rage" (female garage version of "man cave"; trademark pending
😄), she and her close friend also have a small business creating hand-crafted home decor and accent furniture for customers and businesses.
As a single mom to three amazing kids, Stacey truly understands how important it is to spend quality family time home together. It's one of the reasons she loves to help people create a beautiful outdoor living space for their families as they grow and change.
Out on the weekends, you may just find Stacey out enjoying a nice, cold light beer with "bobbers" (green olives) and belting out some classic karaoke tunes at her favorite dive bars.
Always outgoing and friendly, Stacey said "What I absolutely love about the DecksDirect family is that they are genuinely good people who care about each other and our customers and when we say we help people build better decks, we mean it and take pride in doing so."
