Hidden Fasteners for a Clean, Finished Look
Our Deck of the Month champions decided to use the customer-favorite Cortex Concealed Fastening system to cleanly attach their TimberTech/AZEK stair boards along the stair treads for a picture-frame view along each step.
On the deck floor itself, the Deck Dogs crew used the new CAMO EdgeClip fastener to secure their composite deck boards in place without visible screws or nails stealing the show or ruining the day. The CAMO Edge fastening system from CAMO Hidden Fasteners uses a stainless steel clip to connect the grooved deck board to the deck joist below while a stainless steel screw drives down to create a tight hold and a consistent 3/16 inch board gap.
Modern Metal Deck Railing
Lastly, Chris and his team installed a sleek metal deck raiilng system to the backyard project. Crafted from powder-coated aluminum, metal railing lines boast thin balusters for open views of the neighborhood while the strong, structural posts are impervious to damage from moisture, rot, or insects for a long-lasting barrier with minimal maintenance.
