The FortressCable V-Series Railing system combines the ease of a panel system with the unobtrusive style of cable with the durability of steel. The FortressCable V-Series Stair Panel is available in 8 foot (nominal - on center) lengths with 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel cables pre-installed. These cables are the industry standard 1/8 inch thick, spaced out 3-1/4 inch on center for safety; additionally there are (2) vertical 5/8 inch steel cable supports mounted within the panel. This panel is rackable up from 0 to 45 degrees; use FortressCable V-Series Universal Rail Brackets along with the FortressCable V-Series Angle Adapters (sold separately) to mount your panel.

The top and bottom rails of this system are U-shaped, with steel spacers and cable hardware inside the groove. Cables are connected to the bottom rail using ball swaged fittings. The top rail has an open top which allows for each cable's threaded end to be tensioned and secured with the included M8 bolt, Hex Nut and Washers; making installation and adjustments a cinch.

With an open top rail, a recommended choice for a superb finished look is to install a FortressCable V-Series Flat Accent Top Rail (sold separately). This will securely clasp over your top rail to for an understated piece that completes your railing while protecting hardware from water and debris. Another option is to add a drink rail with Fortress Cap Rail Clips and any coordinating piece of decking that you wish.
