This copper "Pineapple" top fits a 4 x 4 post measuring anywhere from 3 1/2" to 3 5/8". The base slips over the post and mounts with 2 screws to the post. The slip-over type will help protect the end grain of your post. This post top is made of 100% copper and will last a lifetime. It will eventually turn to an "aged" patina color. You can spray the product with a clear laquer if you want the polished look to remain.
