Screened-in decks, porches and patios are a great way to enjoy the outdoors without having to worry about annoying bugs and the glaring rays of the sun. The Westbury ScreenRail system takes the traditional screened-in deck, porch or patio to the next level of customization and style. The ScreenRail system by Westbury allows you to add a screen infill option. So if you wanted a Railing Component that adds a level of safety to your screen project, you can do that. If you want a Kick Panel that will stop kids and smaller animals from ripping and tearing your screen, you can do that. There is even an option for a Mid-Rail that provides extra horizontal support without blocking your beautiful view!
Another benefit to this screen system is that you can add a Door Kit. The door kits have universal hinges that are able to swing both right and left coming out away from the screened-in portion of your project. The door itself includes a kick panel and two mid-rails for added protection. Keep in mind that if you want to install a door kit you are going to also need to install the ScreenRail Post with Post Mounts by Westbury. The posts are also used when your structural posts are greater than 8 feet apart. These 2” posts come with post mounts that you attach to the decking floor and up to your structural header. There are two screen retention grooves in the posts that allow for screen connection for a seamless look. This entire screening system is safe for off-ground screen applications because of the aluminum rail components that the system offers so you can install on a second-story porch or deck with no problems.
