Trex RainEsapes drainage system can be installed using either caulk, tape or both. To estimate the quantity of butyl caulk needed we recommend the following:

For Installation with predominant Caulk installation:
Total square foot of deck / 35 = qty of tubes
For Example: 700 sqft deck / 35 = 20 tubes

For Installation with predominant Tape installation:
Total square foot of deck / 250 = qty of tubes
For Example: 700 sqft deck / 250 = 3 tubes
