Why Cliff likes this product: Want the look of a metal baluster without a glossy finish? Here you go. Trying to match a roofing color and can’t quite find it? Here you go.

Special product notes: It’s a “standard” aluminum baluster in every way besides the finish, so all accessories, connectors and railing systems will work with them.

Highpoint Estes Rail Light

Why Cliff likes this product: By far the most solid light I’ve ever handled. If you have someone slide a deck chair into this light and they manage to ding, dent or scratch this light you need to stop inviting over professional wrestlers.

Special product notes: Comes with a 20 watt incandescent bulb, which puts out a lot of light, but also a lot of heat. We’ve customized our kits to come with a 10 watt version that puts out almost as much light, with a lot less heat. And don’t forget these are easily transformed into an LED lamp, saving on power and getting rid of the heat altogether.

Boulevard Inset Demi-Top Post Cap by Acorn (preferably in Ipê)

Why Cliff likes this product: I just love the shape and finish of this post cap. There have been rumors stating this is the perfect post cap for setting beverages on, but I would never condone such behavior towards such quality work.

Special product notes: The Ipê could possibly be bulletproof, but don’t test that for me.
