DeckLok is a patented bracket system that strengthens the vulnerable connections between deck components (ledger connection, rail post and stair stringers) by adding a bolted attachment at critical structural locations.
The DeckLok Bracket System creates stronger deck connections by redirecting the force of the load from "pullout" to a connection in "shear". The DeckLok bracket system provides the strength required to meet IRC 2006 Safety Code requirements for both lateral pullout and rail post stability while using your current deck construction techniques and designs. The bracket is available in ACQ compatible galvanized coating and in 304 Stainless Steel.
- Anchors against deck pullout and collapse, 4000 lbs. of resistance per DeckLok set.
- Increases Rail Post connections by up to 500%.
